Home > Events > Past events Past events2010Annual ENQA Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Seminar, London, UK, 8-9 June 2010 ENQA, in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA, UK), organised a seminar on theme 'Internal Quality Assurance - Enhancing quality culture' which was held on 8-9 June, 2010 in London, United Kingdom. This marked the annual meeting of the ENQA IQA Group. The Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEE Netwrok) held its biennial General Assembly meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria on 28 and 29 May 2010. ENQA, in cooperation with the Magna Charta Observatory of Fundamental University Values and Rights, organised a seminar on quality assurance and transparency in higher education which was held on 17-18 May 2010 in Bologna, Italy. The National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain (ANECA) hosted an international seminar on Quality Assurance in Higher Education with the theme of "Interaction between stakeholders within the LAC-UE Higher Education Common Area" held in Madrid on 27-28 April, 2010. Bologna Seminar on the European Dimension of Quality Assurance, 14 March 2011, Berlin, Germany The German Accreditation Council and the German Rectors’ Conference jointly organise the Bologna Seminar “The European Dimension of Quality Assurance”. It will take place on 14 March 2011 in Berlin, Germany. Biennial INQAAHE Conference, 4-7 April 2011, Madrid, Spain The 2011 INQAAHE Biennial Conference will take place in Madrid, Spain, from the 4th to the 7th of April 2011. The National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) is hosting this event. The theme is "Quality Assurance: Foundation for the Future". The conference will celebrate INQAAHE's 20th anniversary. Training session/workshop for experts for agency reviews, 11-12 February 2010, Dublin, Ireland ENQA organised a third training session/workshop for experts for agency reviews which was held on 11-12 February 2010 in Dublin, Ireland. 2009Following the success of previous forums, the fourth European Quality Assurance Forum was co-organised by ENQA, ESU, EUA and EURASHE and supported by the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Commission. It was hosted by the Copenhagen Business School (Copenhagen, Denmark) on 19 – 21, November 2009. Training session/workshop for experts for agency reviews, 22-23 October 2009, Brussels, Belgium ENQA organised the second training session/workshop for experts for agency reviews which took place on 22-23 October 2009 in Brussels, Belgium. ENQA Workshop on quality assurance of e-Learning, 7-8 October 2009, Sigtuna, Sweden ENQA organised a workshop on the quality assurance of E-learning. The workshop was hosted by the National Agency for Higher Education (NAHE), and took place at Kristina Konferens & Hotell in Sigtuna, Sweden. Sixth ENQA General Assembly, 28-29 September 2009, Barcelona, Spain The Sixth ENQA General Assembly was hosted by the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency (AQU). IQA seminar for the ENQA Internal Quality Assurance group and others. ENQA, in cooperation with the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO), organised this ministerial conference debriefing session with a view to preparing for the General Assembly Forum. The workshop was hosted by the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts. Training session/workshop for experts for agency reviews, 21-22 May 2009, Paris, France Following the debriefing/brainstorming meeting on 17 March 2009 in order to prepare for the training of experts for agency reviews, this marked the first training session/workshop organised by ENQA, which took place in Paris, France. This seminar was jointly organised by the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO) and the Austrian Accreditation Council (AAC). A Nordic conference was organised by The Ministry of Education, Science and Culture in Iceland, Nordic Quality Assurance Network in Higher Education (NOQA) and The University of Iceland. A debriefing/brainstorming meeting in order to prepare for the future training sessions of experts for agency reviews, took place on 17 March 2009 in the World Trade Centre of Barcelona. ENQA Workshop: Quality Assurance in Postgraduate Education, Brasov, Romania, 12-13 March 2009 ENQA organised a workshop on quality assurance in postgraduate education. The workshop was held at the Transilvania University of Brasov and hosted by the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS). Seminar: Centres of Excellence in University Education, Helsinki, Finland, 24-25 February 2009 The event was jointly organised by FINHEEC and ENQA. 2008ENQA organised, within the framework of the BFUG work programme, a Bologna seminar on transnational education (TNE) and the OECD-UNESCO Guidelines for quality provision in cross-border higher education. The seminar was hosted by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), UK. Following the success of the last two European Quality Assurance Fora (respectively, at the Technical University of Munich and the University La Sapienza in Rome), the third Forum was hosted by the Corvinus University. The HRK/Quality Management Project organised its traditional "Autumn Conference" that was held in the Beethovenhalle in Bonn.
