ENQA seminar: Internal Quality Assurance - Facing common challenges, The Hague, The Netherlands, 15-16 June 2009 (03. Mar. 2009)IQA seminar for the ENQA Internal Quality Assurance group and others.
Background and objectives of the seminar
The event was hosted by the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO). The seminar was open to all ENQA Full and Candidate members, Associates and Affiliates. The seminar was intended for agencies with operational internal quality assurance systems, and for agencies that are planning to implement such a system.
Among other things, the seminar discussed the following issues:
- What are the common challenges in the daily operations of quality assurance agencies;
- How do agencies follow recommendations from the review panel or the review committee;
- What are the good examples of how an agency can better measure that their processes and results reflect the mission and goals of quality assurance (as stated in the European Standards and Guidelines).
