ENQA Workshop Development of QA procedures and alignment to the ESG, 3-4 May 2012, Belgrade, Serbia (23. Feb. 2012)The ENQA Workshop “Development of QA procedures and alignment to the ESG” took place in Belgrade, Serbia, on 3-4 May. The event was co-hosted by the Serbian Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assessment (CAQA).
The workshop targeted especially newer agencies, and those in the process of aligning their processes to the European Standards and Guidelines. The event presented an opportunity to learn from agencies with a longer history in working with the ESG and to share challenges, solutions and good practice between all participants.
The workshop was part of ProENQA Project and supported by the Lifelong learning Programme of the European Commission.

ESG in Focus: Developing internal QA procedures
This activity has been organised within the “ProENQA 2010-2012” project (510499-LLP-1-2010-1-FI-ERASMUS-EMHE ) with the financial support of the Lifelong Learning Programme/ Erasmus sub-programme. The consortium was formed of ENQA and eleven of its member agencies. The ENQA led ” ProENQA 2010-2012” project aimed at bringing together QA professionals from QA agencies in Europe, and other related stakeholders, in order to engage them in a fruitful and continuous dialogue on the current challenges and developments in higher education and its quality assurance. Activities also included four training sessions for external experts for the cyclical reviews of quality assurance agencies. In addition, the project supported ENQA’s role at the European level, the creation of informed policies and furthering of a European dimension in quality assurance of higher education through participation in the Bologna Follow-Up Group and cooperation with the E4 Group.
