ENQA Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Seminar, 7-8 June 2012, Valladolid, Spain (01. Mar. 2012)

Annual ENQA Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Seminar "Assessing impact – Using external reviews and evaluations for internal learning", was held on the 7-8 June 2012, Valladolid, Spain.

ENQA, in collaboration with ACSUCYL, organised its annual IQA Seminar in Valladolid, Spain on 7-8 June 2012 on the theme of “Assessing impact – Using external reviews and evaluations for internal learning”. The seminar created the opportunity to present the results of the “impact survey”, completed beforehand by ENQA member agencies, in three different sessions: “General principles of IQA”, “The Internal Impact of External Reviews” and “Assessing Impact of Evaluations for Internal Learning” and to share the experiences of each agency in the field.

A limited number of member agencies held short presentations and shared their practices and experiences under each session topic.

This activity has been organised within the “ProENQA 2010-2012” project (510499-LLP-1-2010-1-FI-ERASMUS-EMHE ) with the financial support of the Lifelong Learning Programme/ Erasmus sub-programme. The consortium was formed of ENQA and eleven of its member agencies. The ENQA led ” ProENQA 2010-2012” project aimed at bringing together QA professionals from QA agencies in Europe, and other related stakeholders, in order to engage them in a fruitful and continuous dialogue on the current challenges and developments in higher education and its quality assurance. Activities also included four training sessions for external experts for the cyclical reviews of quality assurance agencies. In addition, the project supported ENQA’s role at the European level, the creation of informed policies and furthering of a European dimension in quality assurance of higher education through participation in the Bologna Follow-Up Group and cooperation with the E4 Group.
