ANECA organised, together with the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science, a two-day seminar on the implementation of the quality assurance standards in the European higher education area. The seminar was held in Santander, Spain.
The European Ministers of Education adopted the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) in Bergen in May 2005. The seminar focused on the current debate on the implementation of the ESG from the viewpoint of the European quality assurance agencies, higher education institutions and other related stakeholders.
