The National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain (ANECA) hosted an international seminar on Quality Assurance in Higher Education with the theme of “Interaction between stakeholders within the LAC-UE Higher Education Common Area” held in Madrid on 27-28 April, 2010.
The Ministry of Education’s agenda for the Spanish Presidency of the European Union provides an exceptional setting to present the state-of-the-art initiatives and achievements of years of networking, to create meeting points between Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.
The seminar aimed to share the achievements of the quality assurance networks and universities when searching for the convergence of criteria, in order to facilitate the creation and consolidation of trust spaces between countries in their respective regions.
