CACECA • Consejo de Acreditación CACECA

CACECA is an ENQA Affiliate.

CACECA is a non-governmental organization that promotes, under international standards, the evaluation and accreditation of academic programs in higher education institutions of the public and private sectors, ensuring the quality and relevance of them.

CACECA was created in 1996 as a part of NAFTA, in which Mexico made the commitment to evaluate, accredit and certify the programs of higher education institutions in order to raise the academic level of its graduates. Now with more than 1,700 accredited academic programs in Latin America in business-related disciplines, CACECA has created an integral process that allows higher education institutions to have an objective and professional evaluation based on international standards with the professional perspective of academic peers, which in turn promotes quality culture from within the organization. In order to effectively evaluate and accredit the academic programs, CACECA created an innovative methodology accompanied by an extensive staff of more than 250 academic peers from different backgrounds and areas of expertise to ensure the highest standards, more than 70% of them with masters and doctorate degrees working in higher institutions of Latin America.
