NEAQA • National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education

NEAQA is an ENQA Affiliate. NEAQA is an independent State agency funded mainly from the accreditation fees paid by higher education institutions.  It is the national institution in the Republic of Serbia in charge of external quality evaluation of higher education institutions. It was established by the new Law on Higher Education (2017) as a legal successor of Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance CAQA, after more than decade of conducting quality assessment processes in Serbia. NEAQA’s mission is to maintain and enhance the quality of higher education in Serbia, in cooperation with the key stakeholders and in accordance with the international standards, and thereby increase its competitiveness.
