New report available featuring a comparison between the ESG and SIACES’ Principles of Good Practice

A new report is available featuring a comparison between the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and SIACES’ Principles of Good Practice. This publication presents the results of the first phase of the ESG-PBP Alignment project, a joint ENQA-SIACES initiative coordinated by ANECA (Spain) that involves a working group composed of the secretariats of both networks and ten quality assurance agencies from the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and the Ibero-American Knowledge Area (EIC).

The first phase of the ESG-PBP Alignment project completed a systematic comparison of the ESG and the PBP. Although their unequal structure and, in certain cases, their different levels of development do not facilitate a direct comparison between the two documents, this exercise, by means of a thematic analysis, has permitted a series of relevant conclusions. Converging and differentiating elements become here an opportunity for the exchange of perspectives between these two reference frameworks for quality assurance and for their mutual enrichment.

The document is available in Spanish and English, and can be accessed here.
