Digital Tools and Quality assurance for Automatic Recognition (DIGI-REQA)

The project addresses key gaps identified in implementation of automatic recognition, emphasising practical digital tools and links with quality assurance to support students, employers, and higher education institutions as the end users of automatic recognition.

Aims and activities

The project aims to promote support for NARIC centres in implementing key EU Council Recommendations and EHEA commitments to improve mutual processing and fair recognition, to improve recognition practices with digital tools.

Main aims:

  • Promote a common and general understanding and practice of automatic recognition among the Contracting Parties to the Agreement and a possible extension of the Agreement
  • Develop communication on more effective automatic recognition
  • Explore a path towards automatic recognition of secondary school qualifications
  • Explore options for tools developed at European level
  • Promote recognition opportunities through internal and external quality assurance systems

Project activities:

  • Develop the first international recognition tool
  • Explore the cooperation ability of European tools to expand the validation of automatic recognition
  • Promote the expansion of the validation of digital tools and the summary of results through various activities

Funding and duration

This project is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme KA3 “Support for Policy Reform.” This is a continuation of the DIGI-AR (2022-2024) project.
