Over the past quarter of a century, ENQA has played a central role in shaping and advancing quality assurance in higher education across Europe, building strong partnerships, fostering trust, and supporting continuous improvement. This anniversary not only invites us to look back at the achievements and milestones that have defined ENQA’s journey so far, but also to look ahead—to consider the challenges and opportunities that lie before us, and to envision the next stage of ENQA’s development in a rapidly evolving higher education landscape.

A moment to celebrate: ENQA General Assembly 2025
The 2025 ENQA General Assembly will take place on 23-24 October in Brussels, Belgium. The event will be organised in cooperation with the Flemish Higher Education Council – Quality Assurance (VLUHR QA) and the Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (AEQES). It will be preceded by an ENQA anniversary celebration taking place on 22 October.
