Members present at the ENQA General Assembly 2024 in St. Julian’s, Malta, elected three Board members: Heli Mattisen (HAKA, Estonia) was elected for her first three-year term; Patrick Van den Bosch (VLUHR QA, Belgium) was elected for his second three-year term; and Kristin Vinje (NOKUT, Norway) was elected for her first three-year term after a one-year replacement term. Board members Cristina Ghițulică (ARACIS, Romania) and Doris Herrmann (AQAS, Germany) were re-elected as Vice-Presidents.
Members present at the General Assembly also endorsed the Board’s earlier decisions to reconfirm membership of the following agencies: A3ES (Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation of Higher Education, Portugal), AHPGS (Accreditation Agency in Health and Social Sciences, Germany), AIC (Academic Information Centre, Latvia), AQ Austria (Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria), CTI (Engineering Degree Commission, France), CYQAA (Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education), evalag (Evaluation Agency Baden-Württemberg, Germany), IEP (Institutional Evaluation Programme, Europe), PKA (Polish Accreditation Committee), QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland), and Unibasq (Agency for the Quality of the Basque University System, Spain). The General Assembly endorsed the Board’s decisions to renew the affiliate status of the following agencies: ACQAHE (Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education, Montenegro), and HKCAAVQ (Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications). Two agencies were granted affiliation: EATDA (State Agency for Science and Higher Education, Azerbaijan) and PAASCU (Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities).
