The European Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Network, of which ENQA is an associated partner, is organising the European RPL Week 2026 from 9 to 13 November 2026. This initiative will bring together a variety of online and on-site events taking place across Europe to promote discussion and exchange on the recognition of prior learning. Themes include inclusive and flexible higher education, recognising workplace and lived experience, quality assurance, international collaboration, and the use of digital tools and artificial intelligence.
As part of the programme, the annual European RPL Network Conference will be held online on 12 November 2026 under the theme “Why RPL Matters More Than Ever: Recognition of Prior Learning and the Future of Inclusive, Flexible Higher Education.” The event will explore the role of RPL in the changing landscape of European higher education and lifelong learning.
