External review of NQAI (2007)

This information relates to the external review of the National Qualifications Authority of Ireland (NQAI). This agency merged with three other agencies into today’s Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI).

The National Qualifications Authority of Ireland (NQAI) underwent an external review coordinated by the Irish Department of Education and Science, in association with the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment in 2007. The review evaluated whether and how the agency meets the expectations of the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the EHEA.

This review was not coordinated by ENQA; NQAI used the review report to apply for ENQA membership.

You can find the pages to all of QQI’s reviews here.
