ENQA WORKSHOP ON STAKEHOLDERS’ TRANSPARENCY NEEDS

6 May 2013-7 May 2013 00:30

The workshop on stakeholders transparency needs took place on 6-7 May 2013 in Tallinn, Estonia. This event was organised by ENQA in cooperation with the Estonian Higher Education Quality Agency (EKKA) within the “Transparency of European higher education through public quality assurance reports” (EQArep) project of ENQA with the financial support of the Lifelong Learning Programme.

As part of this project, the project consortium prepared, at the beginning of 2013, a survey addressed to a number of stakeholder representatives (students, teaching and other staff at HEIs, and employer bodies/business representatives), to collect their views, use and perceptions on external quality assurance reports. To verify and discuss the information collected through the survey, the project organised a workshop for a number of stakeholder representatives from different European countries. The participants have mostly been selected from among the respondents to the survey.

The findings of the survey on “stakeholders’ demands for transparency” and the outcomes of the workshop have resulted in a report that can be found here.
