The ASIIN’s 9th Global Conference: “The growing importance of AI in Higher Education – A world of opportunity or serious risk?” will take place on 30 November and 1 December 2023 in Potsdam, Germany at the newly founded German University of Digital Science.
The discussion will concern the future of higher education in the context of digitalization and the ever-increasing importance of modern technologies – first and foremost Artificial Intelligence. In which ways do higher education institutions need to reinvent themselves to remain competitive and competently take advantage of the challenges of the future? In particular, the participants will together analyze the current and future role of AI in higher education research, teaching and administration and learn about the many advantages that such a modern key technology brings – without, however, ignoring the difficulties or even dangers that, on the other hand, can be a consequence of using methods that are still unknown and little researched.
