The webinar is open to ENQA member and EQAR-registered agencies wishing to renew their membership or registration with an expected site visit in 2022 (or very early 2023), and who have been through at least two full ESG reviews.

ENQA webinar: Online quality assurance – experiences from ENQA members – Part 2

A year after the Covid-19 pandemic hit Europe, many quality assurance agencies have gathered significant experience of moving their external quality assurance activities online. ENQA’s call for contributions to share experiences of conducting external quality assurance in an online format received a high number of interesting submissions. Therefore, we decided to run a second webinar on the same topic, in order to provide a further opportunity for members and affiliates to learn from each other.

ImpEA project final conference

The final conference of the “Facilitating implementation of the European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes” (ImpEA) project will take place online on 17 December from 12:00-15:00 CET. 

2020 European Quality Assurance Forum

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 European Quality Assurance Forum will be organised in the form of online sessions. This decision was taken with the health and safety of all participants in mind.

ENQA webinar: Use of indicators in higher education

On 23 October 2020, 10-11:30 CEST, ENQA will host a webinar on use of indicators in higher education and specifically quality assurance. Participants will hear the main findings of a study conducted by the European University Association (EUA) which looked at how indicators are used in rankings, external quality assurance, and funding formulae.

Single Accreditation of Joint Programmes – Turning a Bologna Guideline into Reality

The aim of the conference is to discuss and clarify obstacles in various countries hampering the real implementation of European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes, adopted by EHEA ministers in May 2015 and search for answers on “what”, “how” and “when” could be made by relevant stakeholders in amending legislation, guidance or in changing practices on the national and European levels.

EQUIP workshop on the ESG 2015 as a tool for change – Vienna

Participants joined the event to learn more about the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) directly from their authors; to benefit from exchanges with peers on good practices; and to overcome challenges in translating the ESG into practice.

Striving for Excellence in Higher Education: Bringing Education and the World of Work Together

In conjunction with the 2015 EQAF in London, EURASHE and it PHExcel project partners will organise the fee-free PHExcel conference ‘Striving for Excellence in Higher Education: Bringing Education and the World of Work Together’ at the Chelsea College of Arts, on 18-19 November 2015. Outcomes resulting from the of the project’s phases – researching quality tools in Europe, developing a framework for excellence, testing this framework in pilot assessments, and validating it with consultations and surveys – will be presented.

Peer Learning Event Assessment and Demonstration of Achieved Learning Outcomes

The Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO), together with the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, is organizing a conference on the assessment and demonstration of the achievement of learning outcomes, on 29-30 October from at 9.30 am in The Hague, The Netherlands. The conference is part of the EU-financed project Facilitating Bologna Tools of the Dutch Ministry of Education (OCW), the National Agency Erasmus+ and NVAO.

The ENQA networking event brings together distinguished members of the ENQA Board with higher education actors operating in Brussels to celebrate the work of ENQA and, particularly, to disseminate research on quality assurance and internationalisation.

APQN Conference and Annual General Meeting, 17-19 April 2015, Kunming, China

The target audience for the APQN Conference and AGM is primarily those associated with quality agencies in the Asia-Pacific region. It includes APQN Members and Observers, the APQN Board, Committees and Project Groups. In addition, others working in the area of quality assurance and improvement in higher education and government agencies are welcome to attend the conference days that are open to nonmembers. The conference will be open to all registered delegates except the AGM which is for members only.

6th European University – Business Forum, 5-6 March, Brussels, Belgium

Established in 2008, the University-Business Forum provides a unique platform for stakeholders from academia and the business sector in Europe. Serving as a common space for exchange and debate, its aim is to bridge what is almost a cultural gap between these two sectors and to highlight the advantages and shared value of sustained, closer cooperation.

QACHE Asia-Pacific Regional Forum, 22-23 January, Macau

The event is designed to gather around 25 participants from QA agencies and other relevant actors in cross-border higher education (CBHE) in the region. All project partners from Europe will also participate in the event, both to present outcomes of the other project activities and the European cases, as well as to discuss needs and opportunities for collaboration between agencies and relevant authorities in the future.
